Rabbit and Mouse Kiss 1/12 - Polymer Clay Mini Sculpture

This mini sculpture is my best-loved piece of the whole collection that I'll show at the dollhouse fair next week-end :) 

It's about a little Rabbit and his Mouse friend... they are playing and the little Mouse gives a little kiss to his best friend Bunny :)

They and me - together all the Celidonia's Rabbit, Mice, Fairies, Babies and little Girls - both in polymer clay and in the flesh, will waiting for you a Miniaturitalia, in Milan, next week-end! :)

This video is not a tutorial, but just a gallery of the mini sculptures I'll exhibit at Miniaturitalia, the Italian Dollhouse Fair :) 

Rabbits, Robins, Fairies and me are so busy with preparations for the fair! I hope you'll enjoy the video. There are so many new polymer clay tutorials projects in my head, and so short time in my life these days! I hope I'll record some of them as soon as I'll return from the fair :)

Fairy Rabbit Miniature - Polymer Clay Video Tutorial

My new video is about my best-loved pet, the magical rabbit. I believe that the first requisite to sculpt isn't technical competences - that are important too - but love. This video is born from my love to this great creatures.

The polymer clay brand that I used for this project is Fimo Soft, but all polymer clay is good, so look for your favourite. You can see the video here in the blog or on Celidonia Studio Channel on YouTube :)

You can read the profiles here, but it's only in Italian... I'm so sorry I'm not able to fully translate it in English!

Don't Cry

If you feel sad, in a rainy day, and a teardrop roll down your cheek...

Don't despair! Maybe a Kind Friend'll come to you, whispering: 

"Don't cry, Spring will came early..."

"She sends you this flower and she says to wait for her with a heart full of joy"

"Come on! Dance with me, until she'll came!"

And you? Are you waiting for the Spring too?

I'll exhibit this new work - sculpted in 1/12 scale, as usually without the use of molds - at Miniaturitalia, the Italian Dollshouse Fair, next February 8-9, in Milan. Spring will be still on her's way, but hope to see you there... the girl with the rabbit and all my fairies and Little Friend will be there waiting for you!

Angel

I wanted to sculpt an Angel, for Christimas, in the moment in which he alights on the Earth, touching lightly. Angels can have any appearence, and the nearest to my feeling has long hears and a star-cotton-tail.

But while I was sculpting, I realised that wings was redundant and I had to remove them. Maybe true Angels don't need wings, because the energy that enable them flying is the same that - as they went past - enable the seeds hidden in earth and people sprouting and blooming.
Feeling the touch of this energy is my good wish for the New Year.

Hoppy Halloween, Hoppy Birthday!

Pumpkins kept the Summer's promise, growing large and orange. Leaves put on their most flaming evening dress, to dance with the Wind... and we too are in a holiday mood. Celidonia's Mice, Rabbits, Robins and Fairies, we all are getting ready to welcome the most Magic Night of the Year. Humans named it in many way, in the course of time and minds: Samain, Lemuria, Halloween, Vigilia di Ognissanti. But we unpretentious souls like only following the course of Nature and we won't lock it in a name. We only love celebrate it, beyond the Doors of Time and Space. And singing, in the Heart's Language, without words:
Goodbye Summer, thanks for yours presents gave to Autumn... We'll miss you!
Welcome Autumn, thanks for your sweet return... We missed you!
As soon as the darkness falls, we'll put a candle out of the window, to light the path, so no one will lose.
And to celebrate - in the No-Time Night - the first Birthday of this our new blog, too. Would you light it with us?

Rabbit in Pumpkin

 "What a wonderful Pumpkin!" Little Rabbit says...

 "Is there something for me inside?"

 "Nope. Nothing to eat... Neither the pumpkin pulp!"

 "But it's a comfortable place to stay indeed... Like a warm burrow!"

 "I can sight enemies, while I'm hidden"

 "And I can shout 'BOOH!' to scare you!"

"But it's just an Halloween's trick! I'm a very sweet and loving Rabbit..."

"If you adopt me and give me a lot of carrots! Let's come to visit me, I'm on Etsy now!"

Fairy and Bunny Dream Spring

A new Fairy Project for my students! ^__^

It's and advanced project, a little bit elaborate than the Little Bell Fairy and the Bunny Fairy. 

But it's just thanks the Simple Fairies that is born! 

Now it's better I shut up, I wan't awake them from their Dream... 

...They are dreaming Spring!

Valentine's Rabbit

Someone likes chocolates...

... and someone other likes the box!

Rabbits like very much boxes! ^__^ 

But chocolate is very bad for them healt! Do not give them! 

Give them cardboard boxes,without decorations... and without chocolates inside!

They'll love ripping the paper and decorating the box as they prefer! 

Valentine's Rabbit is the last ooak Rabbit in 1/12 scale I sculpted for the moment. I'm sculpting little Mice now... Do you guess where all they'll go next February? ^__^

Love Story

Once upon a time a little Wild Mouse fallen in love with a beautiful Rabbit

but he was very shy and the Rabbit didn't care about him.

One rainy day, the Wild Mouse found the most beautiful poppy of the field.

He thought to make an umbrella from it, to repair himself, but then he remembered how much the Rabbit loved poppies.

So he decided to give his beautiful poppy to the Rabbit... 

 ...getting each drop of rain!

Like every rabbits, he's very clean and spend a lot of time to groom herself.

Then he came out to play with Fairies... 

...Fairies and Rabbits are great friend, because they belong at the same world!

Little Dutch Rabbit

Here is another little one of my new Rabbit Collection in 1/12 scale for 2013.

He's a Dutch Rabbit! But we don't care about breeds...

...the only breed we care is the breed of heart.

"And the breed of carrots!" (little rabbit adds a postscript)

I couldn't but admit he's right! 

Rabbit Playing with a Butterfly

 I'm sculpting a new series of 1/12 scale Rabbits... He is the first! ^__^

He's playing with a blue butterfly!

They are best friend because they both love flowers.

Butterfly flies on flowers sucking the nectar and Rabbit hops between flower to... aehm... eat them! 

But always them meet to play together, hopping and flying, all the day!

So at a certain point - when he was very tired -  he doesn't know whether I was then a Rabbit dreaming he was a Butterfly...

 ...or whether he was then a Butterfly dreaming he was a Rabbit! 

And you? Are you dreaming to be Humans or Butterflies? ^__^
